The restaurant at Yering Station, constructed on the site of  the first vineyard in the area has glass walls to enjoy the view of the valley.

On the Upper Yara River is the town of Warburton which is a starting point of the Upper Yara Track that follows a trail all the way to the Baw Baw National Park, and can be walked in parts or all the way in a couple of days trek.
